Riverwalk Landing will turn into an extraordinary indoor/outdoor art gallery from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 29, for Yorktown’s 13th annual Art Stroll. Approximately 50 regional artists will put their artistic talent on display along Water Street, as well as inside and behind the Yorktown Freight Shed. Visitors will find a wide range of art for sale including oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, glass, photography, jewelry, handmade soap, woodwork, and mixed media.
This year’s Wine & Country Run has a slightly modified course from last year. Still a true cross-country run through Surry farmland, it will start and end in front of the winery. As details unfold, they will be posted on the www.wineandcountryrun.com website.
